Our Chapter History

The Bayou City  Chapter was organized in 1991, when a small group of women gathered at Carolyn LeSage’s home, in Houston, to form a new chapter of NCL, Inc. Through the energy and enthusiasm of these women, the National Charity League chartered the Bayou City Chapter on April 28, 1992, with sixty charter members.  The current membership of the Bayou City Chapter is almost 400 Ticktockers and Patronesses who live primarily in Memorial, Briar Grove, Tanglewood, West University, and River Oaks area of Houston, Texas.
